Hero Wars Dominion Era Confirms New Players Can Once Again Get Lara Croft
As previously reported, Hero Wars Dominion Era announced that Lara Croft is making a comeback to Hero Wars. Well, today they finally revealed a date for Lara Croft’s return event. The event is named Mystery of Dominion, and will run from August 25 - 31. That’s only a week away from now, so get ready to participate and get your very own Tomb Raider!
Details on the Lara Croft Rerun
The question that’s in most new players’ minds is, will Lara Croft be obtainable for those who don’t have her yet? Previous Lara Croft events only benefited those who already have her, allowing them to upgrade her. But what about now?
Well, here’s some good news: in the Mystery of Dominion event, Lara Croft can be obtained by players who don’t have her yet, but only for the duration of the event. Similar to her debut event, once you miss this event, you won’t be able to get Lara Croft again, most likely for a long, long time.
Fortunately, you don’t have to do much to get her. All you have to do is log in to Hero Wars Dominion Era at any time during the event, and you will automatically receive a base-level Lara Croft. You will also be able to get her Soul Stones during this and future events, as long as you don’t miss this event. This is confirmed in an FAQ provided by the Hero Wars Dominion Era devs themselves.
You can also now pre-order Lara Croft for $24.99 to get a 3-star, level 40 Lara Croft. Alternatively, you can pay $49.99 for a 5-star, level 80 Lara Croft. You will also get a unique Avatar for your account when purchasing either tier of the pre-order. The Avatar will only be available to those who pre-order, so if you want it, you have to pay for it.
Are There Still Heroes That New Players Still Can’t Get?
With Lara Croft soon to be accessible for everyone (at least for a little while), are there still Heroes that not everyone can get?
The answer to that is yes, there is still one Hero that remains exclusive. Well, technically, it’s four heroes rolled into one since it’s the Ninja Turtles. Sure, some characters are hard to get, like Lyria, but that’s just because they’re new. You should be able to get them in the Soul Atrium soon enough. But the Ninja Turtles remain impossible to get if you missed their debut event.
However, with Lara Croft getting a rerun, the Ninja Turtles’s comeback, might now be in the cards.
