Hero Wars: Dominion Era - A Hero Is Coming Back To Raid Some Tombs Soon!

Hero Wars: Dominion Era just announced a certain Hero’s return in a post on their official Facebook page. They don’t say who it is outright, but they aren’t exactly subtle about it either. The image in the post, which you can see above, shows the silhouette of none other than Lara Croft, the backline, AoE, marksman.
They didn’t give an exact date for when she’ll come, but they did hint in a July livestream comment that she’ll come out sometime this month. We’re already halfway through August, so that means Lara Croft’s event might be just around the corner.
How Will You Be Able To Get Lara Croft?

The announcement post on Facebook doesn’t really dive into it, so we’re not exactly sure in what capacity she’ll be “available” in. Previously, when they said Lara Croft or another exclusive character like the Ninja Turtles is coming back, they usually just mean that her Soul Stones can be obtained in the Artium again, but only for the players that already have her, and only for the cost of Emeralds. It’s mainly just so that players who already own her can power her star level up with Soul Stones, and not for newer players to get her.
Now, if that’s the case, then that’s unfortunate for new players. But maybe, just maybe, they release her not just for the players that already have her, but for everyone.
Unfortunately, only time will tell how open this new Lara Croft event is going to be. New players, keep your fingers crossed.
Is Getting Lara Croft Worth It?
Lara Croft is a tricky character because if you want to talk meta, she only becomes really effective when she reaches her red artifacts. So if you want her, and want her to be good, you’re going to have to invest either a lot of time or a lot of money in her. If you plan on doing that, then go for it.
Another way to look at it is like this: go farm Lara Croft if you’ve already invested in the Heroes that work well with her, like Nebula, Sebastian, and Aidan. If your current best Heroes don’t pair too well with Lara Croft, then investing in her isn’t going to do you much good anytime soon.
Though, of course, if you don’t care about the meta and just like her kit and playstyle, or if you’re just a big fan of Tomb Raider in general, then you don’t need this article to tell you what to do. Go get Hero Wars’ Lara Croft and have fun!
