Genshin Impact Luna I Banner Guide: Lauma vs Flins Pull Priority 2025

With the release of Version Luna I of Genshin Impact just around the corner, many players are excited to start their new journey in the brand new region of Nod-Krai. Along with this, there will also be 2 new character releases that promise to introduce new and exciting gameplay and synergies to the game: Lauma and Flins. In this article, we will discuss and go over everything that we know about them, their mechanics, teams, as well as their banner releases, and more so you can plan out your pulls effectively.

Confirmed Banner Releases
In the Update Livestream for Version Luna I, Hoyoverse has fully announced the banner order of Lauma and Flins, as well as the units they will rerun with, and a chronicle wish banner for the Sumeru characters. This alone has made Version Luna I one of the most content-packed patches we have seen in quite a long time.
With these specific releases, we predict that the main focus of this patch seems to be the buffing of the transformative reactions, such as Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Electro-Charge, to be more competitive in the current meta of Genshin Impact. Here is the banner release order according to the Livestream:
First Half:
- 5-Star Feature Units: Lauma and Nahida
- 4-Star Feature Units: Kuki Shinobu, Kaveh, and Barbara
- Weapon Banner: Lauma's and Nahida's Signatures
- Chronicle Wish: Dehya, Alhaitham, Wanderer, Cyno, Nilou, Tighnari, and their Signatures
Second Half:
- 5-Star Feature Units: Flins and Yelan
- 4-Star Feature Units: Aino, Sucrose, and Dori
- Weapon Banner: Flins's and Yelan's Signatures
First Half Release: Dendro Renaissance
Lauma and Nahida
In the livestream, Lauma is shown to be a 5-star Dendro catalyst user, focusing on enabling the new reaction of Lunar-Bloom and dealing AoE damage with her strong Dendro application capabilities. Lunar-Bloom is a twist on the classic Bloom reaction that happens when Dendro and Hydro interact, except now they can crit (Think of Nahida C2). This reaction is also exclusive to teams that have Lauma in them, similar to how Iniffa enables the Lunar-Charged reaction.

Her Elemental Skill lets her trigger Dendro AoE damage, and with Verdant Dew stacks, she can amplify her damage further while building up Moon Song stacks. Her Burst ties everything together, boosting reaction damage across the party and scaling off her Elemental Mastery.
On top of that, her passives enhance Lunar-Bloom even more, while her connection to the Moonsign mechanic gives your team extra crit stats depending on how many Nod-Krai characters are on the team.
Running alongside Lauma will be the Dendro Archon herself, Nahida. She has always been the pillar of the Dendro archetype, being the best-in-slot for almost all of the Dendro-related teams since her release. With her amazing Dendro application and EM buff, she is a great pick-up for those who are looking to dabble in the archetype. If you have the chance, picking up both Lauma and Nahida will open up many team-building opportunities for the future.
Sumeru Chronicle Wish Banner
The long-awaited chronicle banner for the Sumeru roster will finally be released in Version Luna I. Just like every other Chronicle banner, you can choose one unit or signature weapon as your "win" to pull for. At pity, you will have a 50/50 chance to "win" your choice, while losing means you will pull one of the units or weapons that was not chosen. If you do lose the first time, the next time you pull a 5-star will guarantee to be the chosen unit or weapon.
Many of these characters make great use of the transformative reactions of Dendro, making them amazing synergies with Lauma and Nahida. Here is the list of all the upsides and downsides for each character and their signature weapon:
If a unit has a * in their name, it means they will synergize very well with Lauma and Nahida.
Second Half Release: Lunar-Charged
Flins's Kit and More
The livestream also shows that Flins will be running in the Second Half of the version, along with Yelan. From what is shown, Flins is a 5-star Electro polearm DPS, and much like Iniffa, his kit (which we've gotten an early look at through leaks) revolves around enabling Lunar-Charged reactions. To get the most out of him, you'll want to focus on building up his ATK, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and some Elemental Mastery to boost his reaction damage and activate one of his passives.

Similar to Clorinde's gameplay, Flins's Skill infuses his Normal and Charged Attacks with Electro, letting him consistently trigger reactions when paired with Hydro teammates. His Burst will deal Lunar-Charged damage and will be on a short cooldown in his Skill state, allowing him to have great synergies with Iniffa. This makes him a strong option if you're short on Electro damage-dealers and want someone who can reliably fill that role.
Yelan, on the other hand, has always been one of the best Hydro sub-DPS for a wide variety of teams. Her fast and strong application of Hydro allows her to fit in all of the archetypes that use it, such as Vaporize, Electro-Charge, Freeze, Hyperbloom, and more. She also buffs the on-field DPS with her passive damage percent.
Yelan will even work great with her banner-mate, Flins, being one of his best Hydro teammates. These two will be a great pick-up together if you are looking to play with Lunar-Charged.
Final Thoughts
Version Luna I is shaping up to be the return of the Dendro Meta in Genshin Impact. Between Lauma's debut as a Lunar-Bloom enabler, Flins's further pushing the limit of Lunar-Charged, and the long-awaited Chronicle Wish banner for the Sumeru cast, there's truly no shortage of tempting options for players to consider.
Whether you're looking to expand your Dendro arsenal with Lauma and Nahida, double down on Electro synergy with Flins, or secure long-term value from Sumeru's versatile roster, this patch gives you plenty of reasons to plan carefully.
At the end of the day, your choice should come down to what playstyle you enjoy most and which teams you want to strengthen for the future. No matter who you decide to pull for, this version guarantees to bring fresh strategies, new synergies, and a stronger meta for every kind of Traveler.
