Hero Wars: Alliance - The New Kai Rework, Harvest Hustle Season, and Other Additions in the New Update Explained
As the season changes to Fall, Hero Wars: Alliance makes a couple of changes as well. Kai just got a rework and a new event featuring a story involving him and Thea; a new Titan just arrived; and several Heroes just got comfy new Autumn Skins. All these changes and additions were implemented as soon as September began. Take a deeper look at what’s new.
The Kai Rework: What’s Changed?
Perhaps the biggest change in the Autumn update is with Kai, the Mage from the Way of Nature faction. He’s been out of the action when it comes to the meta for some time now, so Nexters Global decided to shake things up a bit. Kai just got a whole new rework, first changing his faction allegiance. Kai now follows the Way of Chaos Faction and will be positioned farther back than usual.
Additionally, a lot of changes affected the effects and values of his skills. Kai even got some new flashy Relic skills. You can see the skill changes and new Relics in the images above.
Join Kai and Thea in The Harvest Hustle Season Event
Kai joining the Chaos faction might seem a little weird, but at least Hero Wars didn’t just leave it at that. The Harvest Hustle story mode is all about Kai’s transition between factions.
Despite being a Nature Mage, Kai doesn’t really seem to do the whole be-one-with-nature bit. He’s conceited and mostly just cares about growing his own power. So it obviously ticks him off when he and Thea are assigned to manage and repair an entire farm.
Things quickly take a change though, when Kai discovers mysterious artifacts around the farm that increase his magic potential. It makes his job easier at first, but then weird stuff starts happening, like an evil magic tree appearing right after he casts a spell with his newfound power.

Additionally, multiple Heroes are also going to be getting new harvest Skins throughout the event. They already teased Kai, Cascade, Guus, and Polaris with their new Skins, so keep an eye out for them and more.
The Harvest Hustle Season will be running from September 1-28.
Asherona: A New Fire Titan Summoner
Last but not least, we just got a new Fire Summoner Titan to help you blaze through the Dungeons. It’s a little too soon to tell how good she’ll be, but it seems like she’s a titan focused on delivering high physical damage, and like all Fire Titans, will excel against Earth Titans.
So far, the only big negative she appears to have is that she needs highly upgraded artifacts to truly shine. So you’ll need to invest a lot of time or money to get her in tip-top shape.
