Amphoreus Next Chrysos Heirs Harmony: Cerydra Best Build and Team

With the closing of the 1st half of Version 3.5, Honkai: Star Rail welcomed the beautiful sovereign of Law, Cerydra, in the second half of the update. For those who are looking for a powerful support to add to their roster, she will make a great addition to many hypercarries teams as an amazing support as well as sub-DPS. With Cerydra’s banner being less than a week away, now is the time to start to farm and get ready for her release. Let’s dive into how to build Cerydra and assemble the perfect team to unleash her full supportive and offensive potential.

Cerydra’s Kit Summary
Cerydra will join the ranks of powerful Harmony units that can also output powerful attacks. As a sovereign, she holds control over the battlefield with absolute power. With the press of her Skill, she promotes one unit on her team to be her main piece on the board with a stacks counter and buffs the speed, attack, and skill damage of said unit, making them output stronger attacks on her enemies. Whenever the chosen unit obtains 6 stacks from using their skill, they are then able to execute Coup de Main, where their skill is copied and immediately used, then use the original skill. This effectively doubles their damage on the enemies on the field. For her Ultimate, Cerydra turns the battlefield into her chestboard and knocks it over, dealing a devastating attack on all enemies.
Best Build: Lightcone & Relics
Lightcone Choice (BiS):
Her signature LC, Epoch Etched in Golden Blood, will be her go-to best option because it gives her everything that she could ask for. Epoch boosts her Attack by a substantial amount, allowing her to recover 1 skill point upon Ulting, and further buffs the skill damage of her target ally.
Alternative Weapons:
- Flowing Nightglow (great alternative): provides Cerydra with energy regeneration and Attack as well as damage buff upon ult. The only downside is that the buff only lasts for 1 turn
- The Forever Victual (4-star Event lightcone): a free lightcone you can obtain right now in-game from the restaurant event. It will be Cerydra's best-in-slot F2P lightcone because of the high amount of Attack % it can provide
- Dance! Dance! Dance! (4-star Banner lightcone): This lightcone focuses less on the personal buffing of Cerydra and makes use of her frequent ulting playstyle to move forward your entire team in the turn order.

Relic Set — 2 Pieces + 2 Pieces Speed & Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Because of the nature of her kit, you want to stack as much Speed on Cerydra as possible to make sure that she can act a lot to buff her team and use her Ultimate. Along with that, the Lushaka Ornaments set will also provide her with more energy and further buff your main DPS:
- 2-Piece: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
Stat Priorities:
You want to build lots of Attack, Speed, and some Crit Damage to maximize her buffing and damage potential. Here are your options for relic main stats:
- Boots: Speed or Attack %
- Cloak: Attack %
- Rope: Energy Regeneration % or Attack %
- Orb: Attack %
- Sub‑stats: Speed, Attack, Crit Damage
Stat Goals:
- Attack: 3400 - 4000
- Speed: 134 - 170
- Crit Damage: 100 - 150 %
- Talent Priority: Skill > Talent > Ultimate > Normal Attack
Optimal Team Compositions
Cerydra thrives on the hypercarries team. Her kit really shines when paired with a single powerful DPS whose main damage source is Skill Damage. This allows her to hyper-buff said damage to the extreme. Currently, as of Version 3.5 of the game, there are not many units that can fully make use of Cerydra's buffing potential, but you can expect that there will be future potential of units that will greatly synergize with Cerydra’s buff. Still, here are two teams that Cerydra will work really well in:
1. Phainon Hypercarry
- Phainon (Main DPS)
- Sunday or Bronya (action-advance and buffer)
- Cerydra (Skill Buffer)
- Huohuo (buffer, energy generation, and sustainer) Cerydra's ability allows Phainon to use his Meteor Skill twice if he has Coup de Main in his ultimate state. This alone pushes Phainon to be the best unit currently in the game because of the sheer amount of damage output he can put out.
2. Anaxa Hypercarry
- Anaxa(Main DPS)
- Sunday or Bronya (action-advance and buffer)
- Cerydra (Skill Buffer)
- Huohuo (buffer, energy generation, and sustainer) If an enemy on the field is inflicted with all the weakness types, Anaxa can use his Skill twice as once, allowing him to stack Cerydra buff very fast. Once he reaches 6 stacks, Anaxa has another unique interaction with Coup de Main similar to Phainon. But this time, his skill will be released 4 times, not just 2, effectively doubling his damage and debuff frequency.
