If you're among the millions who have downloaded and are flipping cards in this Disney-filled version of Solitaire, you might've noticed that something has changed about the app icon over the weekend. Yes, instead of the blue Genie from Aladdin, the official mascot for this popular card game from SuperPlay is now our favorite little four-armed alien, Stitch!

When Did Stitch Become the New Mascot for Disney Solitaire

The new app icon was pushed to players worldwide on both Android and iOS over the weekend. However, if you've been keeping up with the news on Disney Solitaire's official social media on Facebook, then you may have already seen this coming. The developer announced the new app icon earlier this month, along with news that a fresh batch of Lilo and Stitch-themed content would be coming to the game.

In the jigsaw puzzle minigame, for instance, you now have access to several extra puzzles recreating famous scenes from the movie, such as that adorable scene in which he escaped confinement in a stolen spaceship, or the famous scene in which he danced to Hawaiian tunes with Lilo.

With each Solitaire match that you win, you can earn purple puzzle pieces, which you can spend to complete the new themed puzzles piece by piece. When a set is completed, you can claim a bunch of coins and rewards for your achievement!

How to Get Started with the New Lilo & Stitch Content

New to the game or have been spending your time away? All you have to do to access the new content is update your game through your app store (Google Play for Android, and App Store for iOS). The app icon and new content will be automatically updated.

If you're a big fan and want to get the most Lilo & Stitch content possible from the game, try to complete the themed Postcard – an animated, interactive scene that you can unlock by progressing through the levels. The Lilo & Stitch postcard is the 10th one available in the collection, so do try to work your way up – the nostalgic scene’s well worth the effort!
