Racking up millions of coins in Bingo Blitz but can't figure out what they're actually good for? You're not alone – many players find themselves swimming in coins in this free-to-play bingo game with surprisingly few ways to spend them meaningfully. In this guide, you’ll learn what coins are in Bingo Blitz, and how to use them to pull ahead of other players and all your friends!

How to Play Bingo Blitz

In Bingo Blitz, you can join themed bingo rooms set in famous locations like Paris, Tokyo, or New York, with each one offering a completely unique atmosphere and gameplay experience. And as numbers get called out during the live game sessions, you can tap on the number if it’s on your card. If you don’t feel like putting in too much work that day, there’s an auto-daub feature that handles everything for you. But since you're playing against other real players in these live sessions, speed is crucial. The faster you can mark your numbers and call bingo, the better your chances of winning.

When the numbers on your card form patterns like rows, columns, or diagonals, call bingo, and claim your prizes!

What Are Coins in Bingo Blitz?

Each bingo win rewards you with coins, but their usefulness has been significantly reduced over time. Originally, Playtika allowed players to purchase power-ups and other helpful items directly with coins through the in-game store. However, the developer has shifted the economy – power-ups now require premium "BINGO Gems" instead, which you can only obtain through real money purchases or as rare rewards from special events.

Coins aren't completely worthless, however. You can still use them in mini-games that appear during countdown periods between rounds, where you might win XP or occasional power-ups.

There's also a separate Slots feature accessible through the main menu that accepts coins and provides XP for leveling up. Just don't expect coins to be your primary tool for progression like they once were.

How to Earn Coins in Bingo Blitz

Looking to boost your coin collection in Bingo Blitz? You've got plenty of options to keep your balance growing.

Win Your Bingo Games

The most straightforward approach is winning bingos across the game's themed rooms – each victory delivers a substantial coin reward along with whatever bonus prizes that specific room has to offer.

No need to be selective with rooms: the coins will flow freely from any successful game!

Log In Daily

Your daily login streak becomes a goldmine over time. Simply opening the app once every 24 hours nets you free coins, and the longer you maintain your streak, the better those daily rewards become. You don't even need to play – just show up and claim your reward. Just keep in mind that login rewards don't stack, so missing a day means losing that bonus entirely.

Giving and Receiving Gifts from Friends

The social features are surprisingly lucrative, too. Connect with friends who play Bingo Blitz and exchange gifts regularly for a steady flow of free coins that costs you nothing but a few taps.

Play Special Events

Keep an eye out for the game's limited-time events and special missions – these often deliver the most generous coin payouts available. The challenges refresh regularly, so checking in frequently means you won't miss out on these premium earning opportunities.

Many players find these events to be their primary source of coins once they get into the rhythm of completing the objectives.

Should You Save or Spend Your Coins?

Smart players balance saving and spending coins, though your options are more limited than they used to be. Coins can't buy power-ups directly anymore, but you can still use them strategically in the mini-games that pop up while waiting for rounds to start. These gambling-style games occasionally reward you with XP or power-ups, making them worth a shot when you need a boost. You can also spend coins on the slots feature for extra XP to help level up faster.

The key is managing your expectations – don't expect coins to solve major progression problems. Many players accumulate millions of coins with limited spending options, so focus your real strategy on managing credits and gems wisely.

Conclusion

While coins in Bingo Blitz aren't as valuable as they used to be, you can still make the most of them with smart play. Use them strategically in mini-games during countdown periods, or spend them on slots entry for XP boosts and occasional bonus rewards. Every coin counts when you play it right!
