Coins are everything in Scatter Slots – you need them to keep spinning the fantasy slot machine to win prizes and keep on progressing in the game. If you’re short, good thing there are plenty of ways to get free coins in the game: log in hourly to get a quick boost, win events, invite your friends, or watch short ads… there’s no real way of “going broke” in this casino adventure game. Here’s exactly how you can do so!

What Do Coins Do in Scatter Slots?

Like real-life slot machines, in order to crank a spin in Scatter Slots, you’ll need gold coins. Scatter Slots is unique in that it combines fantasy-roleplay elements and, depending on your luck on the machine, the payouts are going to be different.

Unlike real-life slot machines, you don’t need to spin until you strike a single line of one symbol to “win” Scatter Slots. Your payout for each turn is calculated by looking at the type and the number of similar symbols you managed to win.

There are two types of symbols in Scatter Slots:

  • High Symbols: These will have the word “Wild” written on them with an image that changes depending on the destiny (basically the type of slot or the game mode) that you selected. Some destinies have several types of high symbols, but some can have as few as one.
  • Low Symbols: There are eight types of low symbols in total. These could also change from one destiny to another.

High symbols will yield more coins in total (up to a maximum of 500 coins if you get a jackpot, or five same symbols in a row), while low symbols will give you lower, about 250 if you spin a jackpot. And if you’re worried about having to memorize, tap “Settings” and go to “Pay Table” – you’ll find the exact amount of coin you’re going to get for each symbol.

Now, that’s the “official” way to get coins in Scatter Slots, but it’s by no means the only one!

Ways to Get Free Coins in Scatter Slots

There are more ways to get coins in Scatter Slots than just keeping on cranking!

Look Out for Coin Drops

Every once in a while, the game dev is going to drop a link on their social media fan pages. Click on that link, and Scatter Slots will instantly open, and your account’s going to get a fast boost of coins (or other boosters and prizes, depending on how they’re feeling that day).

Here are a couple of accounts you should keep an eye out for:

Of course, there are plenty of fan-made pages and communities you can join on all these platforms, but we don’t recommend doing that: you never know if you click on a malware or a virus.

Talk with Their Chatbot

This is one of the most unique ways to drop free coins we’ve ever seen by far from a game developer. Murka, the developer for Scatter Slots, maintains a chatbot on their Facebook page. Talk with it, and it’ll give you some special challenges and quizzes. Do these well, and it’ll hand you a sack of coins for your effort!

Watch Some Ads

While playing the game (especially once you start to run low on coins), you’ll find a tiny button in the shape of a film reel. Click on it, and you’ll be given a 30 to 60-second ad. Once you’ve watched through the whole thing, the game’s going to drop a few coins into your account – it’s not much, but at least it’ll be good for a couple of spins.

Do note, however, that you can only watch a certain number of times a day.

Play the Bonus Room

Look for the bonus room icon in the menu bar at the bottom of your screen. Inside, you'll find a collection of mini-games, each with its own rules and unlock requirements.

Scatter Lottery

This works just like a real scratch card: scratch it and see if you’re lucky enough to earn the 3,600,000 coins reward. New scratch cards become available every 15 minutes, so make sure to check back regularly.

Hourly Bonus

Once every hour, the Hourly Bonus minigame will open up. You'll have 30 seconds to tap the "Spin" button as rapidly as possible. Your coin reward depends on how many winning combinations of colored gems you can land on the reels during that time. Keep playing and you'll eventually be able to upgrade your gems for even bigger payouts.

As you play the Hourly Bonus, you’ll gain an item called a “Pickaxe”. When you collect eight of them, you’ll unlock the third and final (for now) game: the Jackpot Wheel.

Jackpot Wheel

Spin the wheel and see where it’ll land – there’s no way to lose this, even the lowest slot will guarantee a payout of 50,000 coins. However, if you’re lucky enough to strike a jackpot on the wheel, you stand to win a staggering 45,000,000 coins.

Play the Challenges

Every time you pick a new destiny from the lobby, you’ll be given a list of challenges (or missions) – this is where the real money is made. Don’t mindlessly spin to just see how many coins you could get from pure luck. By completing these challenges, you can get huge coin boosts at every level.

Right now, Scatter Slots has 12 mission types that’d be assigned randomly depending on the destiny you picked:

Mission NameWhat You'll Need to Do

Cut the RopesSlice through all the ropes by hitting winning combinations

Are There Free Codes for Scatter Slots?

No, like most games these days, there’s no “traditional” redeemable codes for Scatter Slots. The closest thing to these codes you can get is the coin drop links you’d find on their webpage. So, if anyone tells you they have special codes that you can buy, it’s very likely a scam.
