Domino Dreams’ Picks for Puzzle Is a New Way to Obtain Puzzle Pieces

Struggling to collect pieces for your Fairytale Puzzle in Domino Dreams? Well, worry not, because they just introduced an event called Picks for Puzzle that will allow you to farm Puzzle Pieces quicker. Learn how to participate, and do it quickly, because the Picks for Puzzle event only lasts for 16 hours (At exactly 10:00 am UTC)!

What Is the Picks for Puzzle Event?

Unlike other events, Picks for Puzzle doesn’t actually introduce a new minigame for you to play. Instead, it makes use of two already existing minigames, Treasure Temple and Fairytale Puzzle. This is how the event works:

Picks for Puzzle allows you to passively get Puzzle Pieces by playing Treasure Temple. The more tiles you break within the board, the more Puzzle Pieces you get. For example, once you’ve broken your 2nd tile, you get one Piece, and once you’ve broken your 5th tile, you get another. It doesn’t matter if the tile you broke contains a gem or not, as long as you break one, it counts.

You can claim your Puzzle Pieces by tapping on the Picks for Puzzle icon on the right side of the main screen. The icon features a pickaxe with a green arrow pointing to a purple puzzle piece. The icon will open the Picks for Puzzle screen, showing you how many tiles you’ve broken in Treasure Temple during the event so far, and is also where you can claim the Puzzle Pieces you’ve earned. Fully accomplishing Picks for Puzzle rewards you with hundreds of Puzzle Pieces!

The Fairytale Puzzle Minigame Explained

If you’re not sure what the Puzzle Pieces are even for, it’s for another minigame called Fairytale Puzzle. The goal of the game is to unlock pieces in a jigsaw puzzle to fully uncover an image. To unlock a piece, Puzzle Pieces act as a resource required to do so. Each jigsaw piece requires a different number of Puzzle Pieces to unlock. For example, in the image above, the jigsaw puzzle is only missing two more pieces, which require 11 and 21 pieces, respectively.

Once an image is fully revealed, you’ll get rewards like Coins, Cards for your Album, and more Puzzle Pieces, before moving on to the next jigsaw puzzle. In the image above, completing that specific puzzle gives you 10,000 free Coins, 10 Puzzle Pieces, and 3 Card Packs.

You mainly get Puzzle Pieces by winning domino levels, but with Picks for Puzzle, you can earn them passively from Treasure Temple now as well.
