Playing with friends is half the fun in Dice Dreams, and fortunately, there are three methods you can use to add new friends: Facebook integration, invite links, or Player ID sharing. It takes only seconds to add a new friend, but it opens up a wealth of gameplay features, from leaderboards to team formation.

Ways to Add Friends in Dice Dreams

Facebook Integration

This is by far the easiest method to add friends in Dice Dreams. Facebook integration automatically connects you with friends who play Dice Dreams. The game automatically scans your Facebook friend list and adds active Dice Dreams players instantly – no manual invitation required!

To connect your Facebook account, simply open the game’s menu. Underneath your profile icon, you’ll find a big “Connect” button if your account hasn’t been integrated with Facebook yet.

Tap that button and log into your Facebook account, follow the prompts, and that should be it!

Invite Links

If you don't have a Facebook account (or your friends don't), you can manually send an invite link to them. When they open and accept your invite, they’d be instantly added to your network.

Generating an invite is easy. Once again, open the game’s menu, and then look to the bottom to find a button called “Invite Friends”. A short animation’s going to play, and after going through the instructions, you’ll finally find a green “Invite” button. Tap on it and you’ll get a copyable link that you can send to your friend!

Player ID Method

The most direct method of connecting with someone on Dice Dreams is through their Player ID. You can find your Player ID, once again, through the game’s menu. But this time, go deeper into the game’s settings by tapping the cogwheel icon in the top left corner of the menu.

Here, down at the bottom, you’ll find a long string of text and numbers – this is your ID. There should be a convenient button you can tap to copy this string.

Grab it and send it over to your friend. Then, ask your friends to do the same and send their Player ID to you.

Right now, there’s no convenient way to add friends through Player ID in Dice Dreams. Instead, you’ll have to contact Support and give them yours and your friend’s Player ID. They’ll help connect you two together, but it’ll take some time for Customer Service to fulfill your request.

Troubleshooting: Can't Add Friends?

Most friend list-related issues, like your friends not showing up, can usually be resolved by simply restarting the game. Completely close Dice Dreams (including the tab on your device), then refresh your friend list. If your friends still aren’t appearing, there are a couple of things you can do:

  • Make sure you’ve given Facebook permissions: If you’ve integrated Dice Dreams with your Facebook account and still couldn’t see your list of friends, check if you’ve permitted Dice Dreams to access your friends list.
  • You need to add your friends on Facebook: You can only connect with people who are already your friends on Facebook. If you haven’t, send them a friend request, get them to accept it, and try again.
  • Update your game: See if you or your friend is using the latest Dice Dreams version. If either of you uses an out-of-date version, try reinstalling the game.

Why You Need a Big Friends List on Dice Dreams

Having a big friends list is a must if you want to enjoy Dice Dreams’ gameplay to the fullest. Once you start adding friends, you’ll get access to a ton of useful features:

  • Attack opportunities - More friends mean more “targets of opportunity” for your raids
  • Leaderboard access - Compete with your friends on who’s got the largest Crowns balance
  • Team formation - Collaborate with your friends on special quests and events by forming Teams
  • Extra roll requests - Request your teammates for extra rolls while playing the game

Managing Your Friends List

This is one of the biggest issues with Dice Dreams at the moment: there’s no way to remove a friend once you’ve added them. If your friends are turning out to be a pest and raid you all the time, you can “counter-attack” by using Attack Cards on their kingdom.

Tips for Finding Active Players

No one in your circle is playing Dice Dreams? Not a problem, you can connect with plenty of people online and form your own group. There are many communities on Facebook where people share their friend codes along with tips and tricks for the game (as well as strategies to finish Dice Dreams' challenges on Scrambly and get a chance to earn real prizes).
